Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of TailoredQuote (“the Service”), provided through tailoredquote.co.uk. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms.

1. The Service

TailoredQuote is AI-powered quoting software that helps UK tradespeople create professional construction quotes, generate room mockup visualisations, and produce branded PDF documents. The Service includes a web application, document storage, and AI-powered content generation.

2. Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• One account per person or business. Sharing accounts between separate businesses is not permitted.
• You must provide accurate information when registering. You can update your details on the Account page at any time.

3. Free trial

New accounts receive a 14-day free trial with full Pro access. No credit card is required. After the trial, your account moves to the free Starter tier unless you subscribe to a paid plan.

4. Pricing and billing

• Paid plans are billed monthly. Current pricing is available at tailoredquote.co.uk/pricing.
• All prices are in GBP and exclude VAT unless stated otherwise.
• We may change pricing with 30 days’ notice. Existing subscribers keep their current rate until the end of their billing period.
• Refunds are available within 30 days of purchase if you are not satisfied.

5. Your data

• You own all quotes, customer records, images, and documents you create using TailoredQuote.
• We do not access, read, or share your documents except as needed to provide the Service (e.g. database storage, PDF generation).
• You can export or delete your data at any time.

6. AI-generated content

TailoredQuote uses AI (OpenAI GPT-4o) to generate quote descriptions and scope items. You should:

• Review all AI-generated content before sending it to customers.
• Verify that prices, descriptions, and scope items are accurate for your specific project.
• Understand that AI-generated content is a starting point, not professional advice.

We are not liable for inaccuracies in AI-generated content. You are responsible for the final content of any quote or document you send.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to access other users’ accounts or data.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service.
• Use automated tools to scrape or bulk-access the Service.
• Upload malicious files or content that infringes copyright.

8. Service availability

We aim to keep TailoredQuote available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance or updates that temporarily affect availability. We will try to give notice of planned downtime where possible.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• TailoredQuote is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind.
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

• You can cancel your account at any time by contacting us.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
• On termination, we will delete your data within 30 days unless you request an export first.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or a notice on the website at least 30 days before they take effect.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
