PRO PLAN FEATURE

Three AI design directions from one photo

Inspiration boards generate three distinct AI style variations from a single room photo — Contemporary, Warm Traditional, and Bold Luxurious. Show customers the options, get a clear direction, then quote with confidence.

About AI mockups: these are illustrative visual guides. They help customers understand the style and direction of a proposed renovation, but they are not measured drawings, design guarantees or planning advice. Always check feasibility, dimensions, specification and suitability for the customer's specific room before sending anything as part of a quote.

The problem inspiration boards solve

Most renovation customers don't actually know what they want until they see it. They say "modern kitchen" but mean three different things. You spend hours quoting Option A, they ask for Option B, you re-quote, they decide they actually wanted Option C, and the job's gone cold.

Inspiration boards reverse this. You upload one photo, generate three style directions in 90 seconds, and the customer picks before you spend an hour pricing.

The three styles

Contemporary & Sleek

Clean lines, neutral palette (warm whites, charcoal accents), engineered materials, integrated lighting, handle-less or slim handle finishes. Reads modern, minimal, current. Best for new-build extensions and customers who want a "show home" feel.

Warm & Traditional

Wood tones, natural stone, soft sage and cream palette, classic shaker or panelled detailing, brass or aged-bronze ironmongery, exposed structural elements. Reads cottage, farmhouse, period property. Best for older homes and customers who want timeless rather than trendy.

Bold & Luxurious

Statement colours (deep navy, forest green, oxblood), marble or quartz accents, brass and chrome mixed metals, dramatic lighting, feature walls. Reads high-end, design-led, "Instagram-worthy". Best for high-budget renovations where the customer wants the result to be the talking point.

How inspiration boards work in practice

  1. Upload a photo of the room
  2. Click "Generate inspiration board"
  3. The AI runs three renders in parallel using carefully-crafted style briefs
  4. You review all three with your customer (in person or by sharing the link)
  5. Customer picks one
  6. You promote the chosen style to a full priced quote — the AI already knows the brief

What's on every inspiration board

Why three styles, not five?

We tested it. Five options paralyses people. Three is enough range to surface preference without overwhelming. The three we picked cover most UK renovation taste — modern, traditional, statement — and give the AI enough creative latitude that the renders are genuinely distinct, not three minor variations of the same thing.

Pricing

Inspiration boards are a Pro plan feature. Essentials (£35/month) gets single AI mockups; Pro (£68/month) adds inspiration boards alongside everything in Essentials. Both include a 14-day free trial. See full pricing.

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between this and a single AI mockup?

A single mockup renders one specific brief. An inspiration board generates three distinct styles from one photo — useful when the customer hasn't picked a direction yet.

How long does it take?

Around 60–90 seconds for all three styles. They run in parallel.

Is this Essentials or Pro?

Pro plan only. Essentials customers get single mockups; Pro adds inspiration boards.

Can the customer pick and convert to a quote?

Yes — the chosen style's brief becomes the basis of a full priced quote with one click.

PDF download?

Yes. Multi-page PDF with original photo + all three styles + captions, branded with your letterhead.
