How to Upload Your Letterhead and Brand Your Quotes
Make every quote and invoice look like it came from an established business — in under two minutes.

Your letterhead is one of the simplest ways to look more professional. When a client opens a quote PDF and sees your logo, business name, and contact details on branded paper, it immediately builds confidence — before they have even read the first line item.
TailoredQuote lets you upload your letterhead as a PDF. Once uploaded, it is automatically used as the background for every quote and invoice you generate. This guide walks you through the process.
What You Need
- Your letterhead saved as a PDF file (A4 size recommended)
- The letterhead should include your logo, business name, address, and contact details
- Keep important content in the top portion — the quote text will fill the body of the page
Step-by-Step Guide
Tips for a Great Letterhead
- Keep it simple — your logo, business name, address, phone, and email are all you need
- Use high resolution — a blurry logo looks worse than no logo at all
- Leave the body clear — the quote text needs space. Keep your branding to the header and footer areas
- Include your VAT number if you are VAT registered — it is a legal requirement on invoices
- Match your colours — use the same brand colours you use on your van, website, and business cards for consistency
Changing Your Letterhead Later
You can replace your letterhead at any time by returning to the Letterhead page and uploading a new file. The new letterhead will be used for all future documents. Previously generated PDFs will not change — they retain the letterhead that was active when they were created.
